Spring 2023 Information
Dates:
Our season will run on Thursday evenings from January 19th – June 8th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. We will have a one-week break on March 23rd.
Fees:
The registration fee for the Spring 2023 season is $200. Payment is due by the second week of practice or can be split into two payments if needed. If you are in need of financial assistance to participate, please reach out to discuss further.
Refund policy:
- If a member decides to drop out within the first two rehearsals (before February 2nd), they will receive a full refund.
- Prorated refunds will be given after two weeks and up to four weeks (before February 16th).
- After four weeks (Feb 16th) no refund will be offered, although extenuating circumstances will be considered.
Location:
We will again be practicing at Bayside Middle School in their band room. There is an exterior door, which can be opened for increased air flow.
The school address is 1101 Newton Pl. If anyone is unfamiliar with where the school is located, it is in Brentwood Bay on Newton Place, which is off of Wallace drive. There is lots of parking in a large parking lot.

Repertoire:
Our theme for Season 9 is “Roots and Wings!” Our ROOTS are represented by songs that connect us to home and celebrate the wealth of talent that has sprung from our country (or wherever we’re from). Our WINGS are showcased by songs that uplift and inspire us to reach for our dreams, try new things, and become the best versions of ourselves.
Members will be provided with access to practice tracks, sheet music, weekly schedule, and rehearsal recordings.
COVID policy:
- Mask wearing is optional whilst singing together. Please respect others’ individual decisions to either mask or un-mask in our choir.
- All members are required to be vaccinated.
- Please do not attend choir if you have any COVID-like symptoms.
- Rehearsals will be live-streamed over Zoom and recorded for those unable to attend any given rehearsal.
